Feeding himself for first time, carrots

While Mommy was away (I was at work) Daddy and Orrin were at play. Ethan called me at work and said that he left the camera on Orrin's highchair and I was to take a look at the pictures he took. I soon found out that Ethan gave Orrin carrots for the first time the other day along with free rein of the bowl and spoon. These pictures are so funny. He actually managed to get "some" of the carrots in his mouth. In one of the pictures he looks so serious and that he is concentrating so hard but he really likes carrots.

Good Giggles

Trying again for ya. The picture is still dark d/t the lighting in the house but, the sound is great. You can really hear Orrin giggle for sure. Babies laughs are so innocent. I found a good tickle spot on the back of his upper arm (tricep area). His right one inparticular.

Trying to Scoot

These are pictures from this evening. They are from the same day but Orrin spit up so we had to do a clothes change. He is trying to get up on his knees as you can see. In his jumpy chair he has actually started to play with the toys on it. Before he would just stare at it. He actually can now make the sun move. I know us first time parents are happy over the smallest things.

Baby pictures of Ethan

When we went down to Florida back in May, Ethan's parents had pulled out some old baby pictures of Ethan. Orrin looks like his Daddy. Some of the pictures of when they were in Pensacola, Fl and also in Subic Bay, PI. Yes, that is Jenette in the picture; doesn't she just look so cute.

New Arrival

I just wanted to share with you all that my good girlfriend, Tia has had her baby. She delivered a healthy boy on Aug 31 @ 1915 weighing in at 7lbs 14oz and 20.5 in long. She labored for 10 hours and ended up with a C-section. The declared name is Edge Lamonte Lightfoot-Rolle. Both Mommie and Daddy are very happy. They are enjoing their new bundle of joy. I will post pictures of Edge when they become available. Both parents are a little busy at the moment. :)
