Bath Time

Orrin's evening bath always is lots of fun.  Ethan decided to give Orrin a soap bubble hat.  Here are a few pics showing off.

Am pictures of Orrin

It was in the 60's this morning but it felt like the 30's with the wind.  Orrin had the opportunity to wear one of his jackets he got for his birthday.  As you can see he is modeling it for you.  He is also showing off his teeth and his bruise over his right eye which is not his first.  I have to realize that this is a boy and he is going to have many bruises in the coming years.

Orrin is still learning how to walk.  He is not completely steady on his own with the walker yet.  But we are working on it.  He will walk with assistance around the pool table in the basement with his walker.  Orrin is getting there.

On a side note.  We just bought a new computer and are in the process of transferring photos, documents, etc.  So when we complete this arduous  process, hopefully I will be more diligent in getting things back on the Internet.  This new computer runs so much more quicker and so it doesn't take forever to download something.

Orrin says, "Cat"

Orrin's next word after accomplishing saying "Da-da and Momma" is the word, "cat." Who knew out of all words he would say, "cat." He really gets the "T" in there. You have to really listen for it but he says it really good at the begining of the movie clip. Also you can see that he is crawling so good now. I think that he is going to be walking very soon.

Trying out our new camcorder

We finally decided to purchase a camcorder before Orrin turned twenty. Ha ha. I say that because Ethan and I always take forever to decide on anything when we want to purchase a big ticket item. So it is funny to us. Anyways, the other night while I was at work, Ethan took a short film of Orrin sleeping. This camcorder has a "night vision" option on it. I know it's crazy but it really works as you will see. His little "pamper butt" is up in the air. The weird thing about it is that is how I used to sleep or watch TV when I was a kid. That's genetics for you. Enjoy. We will be posting more soon.

Ethan's work Childrens Christmas party

Tonight was Ethan's work childrens Christmas party. Ethan wanted to take Orrin to it as we could make an "appearance" for a short time. Santa came on a firetruck and passed out presents to the kids. There was pizza and everyone brought cookies. It was nice. Orrin got to meet another kid about four months older than he. He was very interested in the other kid. The child is a son of a guy, James who works with Ethan. Orrin is such a social butterfly. He loves to be out with lots of people. He also just likes to watch everyone.
